SDFX Studios, led by Stereographer Sanford Warwick, worked closely with Marvel Studios on one-third of the film's Immersive 3D Stereo work, including many of the film's dialogue-driven scenes, the work extended beyond the film's action sequences, supporting some of Peter Parker's most personal moments on screen.
"Our biggest goal was consistency," Warwick explains. "Spider-Man is iconic.Everyone knows what he should look like, and when you're working with recognizable actors like Tom Holland and Zendaya, every close-up has to feel natural and believable from shot to shot."
That philosophy shapedthe stereo approach throughout the film. Rather than pushing dramatic deptheffects, the team focused on subtle refinements to facial volume, spatial relationships and perspective, enhancing realismwhile maintaining visual continuity across performances andenvironments.
"With Immersive3D, you're no longer looking at a flat image. You begin to perceive thecontours and dimensions of a person's face, creating the sensation that you're sharing the space with them."
For the film's more intimate scenes, the team employed restrained stereo depth, keeping emotional performances comfortable and immersive without distracting from the storytelling.

One of SDFX Studios' key contributions comes during a pivotal scene between Peter Parker and MJ (Zendaya). Seeking refuge from the growing threat surrounding them, Peter brings MJ to a Manhattan rooftop, where what begins as a heartfelt reunion gradually shifts into something far more unsettling. As subtle changes in MJ's expressions and behaviour suggest that something is wrong, the emotional weight of the scene relies on performance rather than spectacle. Rather than emphasizing the stereo effect, SDFX Studios focused on preserving every glance, expression, and emotional nuance, keeping gaudiences fully engaged with the performances.
The rooftop sequence then transitions into a dramatic aerial rescue above the streets of Manhattan. As the intimate confrontation erupts into action, the stereo language expands with it, moving from controlled depth to a heightened sense of vertical scale as Spider-Man dives through the city to save MJ. Balancing the immense scale of New York with Spider-Man's physical presence became one of the team's key creative challenges, allowing the city to feel expansive while keepingSpider-Man naturally proportioned as he swung through the city.

The result is an Immersive 3D experience that adapts to the needs of each scene, enhancing both intimate character interactions and large-scale action. Whether audiences are experiencing Peter Parker's most vulnerable moments or soaring through Manhattan alongside Spider-Man, the stereo work supports the story at every turn, deepening engagement without ever overshadowing the film itself.
